What sort of power supply is required?
Ideally, about four 13 amp sockets are ideal. We provide all our own extension leads that are fine for most situations, but if we are to play in a marquee for example, we would expect a power supply to be provided within the area we are to play.
Please be aware of any possible sound restrictions at the venue. Sound limiters are becoming increasingly popular in some venues, which can be problematic with a band of this size. It is our experience that it is not always the overall volume that can be a problem, but simply the pitch of certain instruments (particularly bass and trumpet – even crowd noise). There is nothing worse than all the power suddenly being switched off in the middle of a song. Not only does it make the band look bad, it can damage our equipment.
