Can you play at a venue that has a sound limiter?
Sound limiters are becoming increasingly popular in some venues, which can be problematic with a band of this size. It is our experience that it is not always the overall volume that can be a problem, but simply the pitch of certain instruments (particularly bass and trumpet – even crowd noise). There is nothing worse than all the power suddenly being switched off in the middle of a song. Not only does it make the band look bad, it can damage our equipment. Please check out the venue before booking!
