How much space do you require?
In an ideal world and in an ideal room, we like to have a minimum of 12’ x 24’, but in our experience, there are few ideal rooms! There are always fire exits, doorways, dining tables, pillars, fireplaces and lack of power sockets that can determine how and where the band set up!
At some venues, a temporary dance floor is laid down in front of the band. If this is to be the case at your function, we always ask that the venue leaves an additional 6’ gap from the front of the band so that the band does not spill on to the dance floor – and dancers do not spill on to the band! Equipment and instruments are expensive!
